
College of Basic Education at Salahaddin University-Erbil is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of a two-month virtual training course. As part of the joint project between Salahaddin University-Erbil and Friedrich-Alexander University-Erlangen, a two-month virtual training took place starting on June 16th, 2021 to August 12th, 2021. The primary objective of the virtual training was capacity building in Teacher Education, Academic Research Conduction, and Pedagogy. Moreover, the training sought to enhance teachers’ knowledge and abilities in teaching Entrepreneurship Education and Diversity Education. It is well worth mentioning that a total of (41) university instructors from various universities in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq partook in the aforementioned virtual training.
Additionally, the instructors had fruitful and active participation throughout the training. In the end, all participants were granted a Letter of Participation. The participating universities were the following:
1. University of Slemani
2. Duhok University
3. Halabja University
4. Garmian University
5. Soran University
6. Raparin University
7. Zakho University
8. Koya University
Throughout the virtual training, (21) workshops took place on various topics and according to the themes of the training. (5) workshops were presented by instructors from Salahaddin University-Erbil whose names are below:
